Frequently asked questions

Where do funder records come from?

Each funder is derived from the official program listings we carry (Grants.gov, SAM.gov, the California Grants Portal, Innovation Canada open data and hand-checked programs), plus official agency websites from the Federal Register agencies API.

What is public and what is Pro?

Funder names, types, regions, programs, award ranges and websites are public. Public organizational contacts and CSV export are part of Pro, which is coming soon. Nothing is charged today.

Do you list personal contact details?

No. We keep only organizational contacts published in official listings, such as program office mailing addresses and role mailboxes. Personal names and direct lines are dropped.

Information only. GrantSift is not affiliated with any funder. Funder records are built from the official program listings we already carry plus official public sources; anything a source does not publish is left blank. Always confirm details on the funder's own site.
